Mukhriz launches free online educational portal, Kedah e-Tutor

Sungai Petani 1st April 2015: Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir launched Kedah e-Tutor, an online education portal powered by TH3 Holdings Sdn Bhd., which set to benefit 280,000 students from Year Four to Form Five in the state.
Mukhriz said the RM18 million project was an initiative by the state government to achieve the top five positions nationwide for major examinations this year.
This e-Tutor system will supplement our formal education system at schools and also the private tuition classes.
"The students will be able to access to the online portal to help improve their understanding on the subjects while putting their knowledge into test by doing exercises to improve their preparation for major examinations," he said after launching the e-Tutor portal at Sungai Petani Municipal Council (MPSPK) office here today.
Present were state Education, Transportation and Public Works Committee chairman Datuk Tajul Urus Mat Zain and state Education Department director Azuyah Hassan. 
Under the project, the students in the state will have a free access to 80 different subjects available on the e-Tutor portal, which is operated by TH3 Holdings Sdn Bhd.
